Jolyon F. Stern, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman
Jolyon is the grandson of DeWitt H. Stern, the founder of DeWitt Stern. Directly after college, he entered the business by joining Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, where he learned the business from an underwriter's perspective. He joined DeWitt Stern in 1963, and in 1974 became the President - the third generation to lead the firm. Although the firm writes all lines of commercial and personal insurance, Jolyon's love for the arts helped him establish DeWitt Stern as one of the leaders in the world of Entertainment Insurance. Jolyon is a graduate of Oberlin College and is a member of the Board of Trustees of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the New Dramatists, and the Princeton Club Foundation; a Director of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce; and is also on the Board of the Hans Christian Andersen Storytelling Center, Inc.
