DeWitt Stern claims professionals are available to speak with you during business hours Monday through Friday and will also respond to your calls after business hours and on the weekends.

  • If you need to report a claim during business hours, please call 212-867-3550 to speak with a representative and provide us with details of your claim and the best way for us to contact you
  • If you need to report a claim after business hours or on the weekend, please leave a message at 1-800-363-0067 or 212-338-4336 and a specialist will get back to you as soon as possible

For the purposes of insurance coverage, a claim has not been reported until it has been filed with the insurance carrier in accordance with the terms of the insurance policy. The Dewitt Stern Group Claims Department is available to assist you with the notification process and in the event of a loss, will make every effort to file the claim and acknowledge that this has been done within 48 hours of your report. If you do not receive an acknowledgment from Dewitt Stern within 48 hours, or by start of the next business day, you must follow up by calling 212-867-3550. Your failure to follow up can result in claims processing delay or denial of insurance coverage.
