Conte is Managing Director of DeWitt Stern's Entertainment and Media Division. His clients have included popes, princesses, rock stars and the Presidential Inauguration Committees for four presidents.
He designed specialized insurance products such as Sponsorship Liability for major national sporting events, advertising agency wrap-ups, pay-per-view signal interruption insurance for prize fights, and the broader TV commercial production coverage. He handled claims for the cancelled Super Bowl and the Ryder Cup after 9/11, as well as the cancelled Billy Joel/Elton John concert in Vienna. Performance venue clients include Carnegie Hall and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. His practice also includes galleries such as Gagosian and major private collectors.
Conte joined DeWitt Stern in 2004. Previously he launched and, for 20 years, led Marsh and McLennan's Entertainment Practice. Conte earned a B. A. in English from Denison University.
